How to play
Place the lantern on any empty tile — this counts as one move. A monster will only run away if the lantern is placed directly next to it: above, below, to the left, or to the right. Diagonal placement has no effect. When startled, a monster takes a step directly away from the lantern. If a wall, obstacle, or another monster blocks its path, it bumps into it and remains in place, and the move is used up. If you place the lantern between two monsters, both will be scared at the same time. Your objective is to lead all monsters to the portal. The level is completed when the last monster enters it. Monsters have different abilities: the heavy one resists moving the first time, the ghost can pass through obstacles, the winged monster flies over them, the cyclops sees the lantern across the entire line, and the shadow feels the light through walls but only up close. The playing field is also dynamic: crates can be smashed, buttons open gates, teleports move you around, and cracked ground can give way. Spikes are dangerous for monsters. Fewer moves earn you more stars, up to three. A hint will show you the correct move.
