How to play

To emerge victorious, you must strategically place your pieces so that your opponent is left with no alternative but to forfeit using their checkers. A standard piece moves diagonally forward by one square at a time. The queen, however, has the unique ability to move both forward and backward on any unoccupied square, although she cannot jump over her own pieces. - Capturing is mandatory and can be done both forward and backward. Captured pieces and kings are removed only after the turn ends. - After capturing a piece, if there's an opportunity to capture more of the opponent's pieces, this process continues until there are no more pieces available for capture. - Following a capture, the king can move to any unoccupied space, even after capturing an opponent's piece. - If a regular piece captures on a square where a lady is positioned, it transforms into a king and continues to move according to the lady's rules. - The "Turkish strike" rule states that a piece that has been captured but not yet removed from the board, obstructs the capturing piece or the opponent's next move. - When presented with multiple capture options, the player chooses the piece to capture at their discretion.
